Q: How do screen brightness levels affect playback and battery life?
A: Brighter screen settings consume more battery power, which can reduce the overall playback time. We can set the default brightness level for your brochures, or, if requested, we can enable to adjust brightness via buttons (typical on our Video Stands).
Q: Can the screen display still images or slideshows?
A: Yes, in addition to video content, our screens can display still images or run a slideshow of images. Buttons can be configured to navigate through images or trigger a slideshow automatically.
Q: What is the lifespan of a video brochure screen?
A: The LCD screens in our video brochures are designed for longevity, typically providing many thousands of hours of operation under normal conditions. Their lifespan is generally limited more by battery degradation over years of use than by screen failure itself.
Q: What happens if there’s no video content loaded on the brochure?
A: If a video brochure is powered on without video content loaded, the screen will typically display “No File” message.
Q: Can the screen show a static image before video playback begins?
A: Yes, it’s a common feature to have a static splash screen or image display for a few seconds before the main video content automatically begins playing.
