Video advertising agencies are always looking for ways to stand out and make an impact on potential clients at a trade show. If you look at the Bacon & Eggs Media website, you immediately recognize that they have no problem keeping their audience’s attention for a long time – their ads are creative, funny, witty, and entertaining. But, like any other business wanting you to watch their video, the biggest challenge is to make potential clients click on a link, scan a QR code, or open a YouTube channel. Kia, the owner of Bacon & Eggs Media recognized those challenges as he was preparing for a trade show attendance. One of the solutions that came to his mind was custom video brochures and video mailers. theVideoCards was just a quick Google search away.
He chose theVideoCards as his vendor and selected our new product – Video Mailer Box LITE. The very competitively priced video mailer boxes allowed him to instantly connect with potential clients, capturing their attention with a witty and engaging design and a 3-minute-long ad highlighting Bacon & Eggs Media’s services. The response was overwhelmingly positive. The video brochures not only left a lasting impression but also brought in new business soon after the event.
If you’re looking for a way to make a memorable impression on potential clients, you already know that video content is king. As HubSpot notes, short-form video is the highest ROI format and is slated to have the most growth. A video delivered to an audience with the highest potential to convert is the best possible scenario a marketer can achieve. As Kia discovered, video mailer boxes are a creative and effective way to showcase your work and leave a lasting impression. By choosing the right vendor and crafting a tailored video, you can engage your audience and create a sense of connection that traditional advertising methods simply can’t match.
A high-quality and entertaining video is important to the success of any video brochure advertising campaign. By working with a skilled video production team, like Bacon & Eggs Media, and focusing on creating a video that speaks directly to your audience, you can maximize the impact of your video brochures and grow your business in new and exciting ways.
I run Bacon & Eggs Media, a creative and video advertising agency. So naturally, I’m always looking at ways to highlight our work and speak to potential clients in a unique and memorable way through video.
Our first run at video brochures was specifically for a tradeshow where we knew potential clients would be. We wanted to be able to hand them something that would immediately stop them in their tracks and explain what we do. A paper flyer or brochure is boring and usually ends up in the trash, and needing them to scan a QR code or type in a YouTube video was expecting too much from them.
I did a quick google search and found out about video mailers. I reached out to a handful of vendors and Martin at theVideoCards was able to get us what we needed in time, and on budget.
We knew tradeshows move fast, and most of our customers were there to speak with retail partners, not to be pitched by us! So we crafted a witty and engaging brochure design that was enticing enough to open when we quickly handed it to them. We paired that was a 3-minute-long ad that gives a comedic run-through of our entire service.
The response we got from those video brochures was unlike anything we were expecting! People were acting like they just took a look at the first iPhone that was released. They could not believe it and were so impressed. The video kept them hooked and watching throughout.
Sure beat passing them a piece of paper or business card and praying they would go to our site when their 3-day trade show ended. Wishful thinking! Instead, these let us instantly build an unforgettable connection with customers, as well as leave them with a pretty neat gift to take back to their office and pass around.
We thankfully had a great video ad that worked seamlessly with the video brochures. That would be my biggest suggestion to anyone considering a video brochure. They should think just as hard about the content of the video. The more the video can feel like it was tailored and native to the video brochure unit, the better it’ll perform. Ours spoke directly to those that opened them up and made them an active participant in the experience.
The brochures certainly paid off as we brought in new business only a few weeks after the event. I’m looking forward to using these brochures and finding new creative ways to push it. Both with custom-tailored videos for them, as well as how we distribute them.
